How to reach us

What we can help with
Solar Policy Insights publishes independent, sponsored guides about home solar incentives, financing options and net metering in Canada. We are not a government agency, utility or solar installer. Depending on your message, we can usually help with the following:
Site & content
Corrections, clarifications, or feedback on the guides published on this website.
Quote requests
Follow-up on a form you submitted, including if you no longer wish to be contacted.
Privacy requests
Access, correction or withdrawal of consent for personal information under PIPEDA.
Partnerships
General enquiries about editorial sponsorship or related advertising on this site.
Before you write
A few points that help us respond accurately and avoid delays:
- Use support@solarpolicyinsights.com for all contact with this site;
- If your message is about a quote, include the email address and postal code you used on the form;
- For privacy matters, state clearly whether you are requesting access, a correction, or withdrawal of consent;
- We cannot provide personalised financial, tax, legal or engineering advice, and we cannot confirm whether a specific government program will approve your project;
- Program rules and amounts change — for authoritative details, always check official sources such as canada.ca and your local utility.
Response times
We typically respond within two to five business days. Messages sent on weekends or Canadian public holidays are usually handled on the next business day. If you do not hear back within a week, please check your spam or junk folder and feel free to send a short follow-up to the same address.
Quote requests submitted through the site
When you use the quote-request form on our landing page, the details you provide — first name, email and postal code — may be shared with one or more independent, third-party solar providers so they can contact you about a no-obligation quote. Those providers are separate businesses. If you have already submitted a request and want to stop further contact, email us at support@solarpolicyinsights.com and we will do what we reasonably can to help.
Privacy and personal information
How we collect, use and protect personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy. Cookie use is described in our Cookie Policy. For terms governing use of this website, see our Terms of Use.
If you are contacting us to exercise a privacy right, please write “Privacy request” in the subject line so we can route your message correctly.
